It's simple. It's not easy but it is simple...You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with.You are only as good as yourTeam. Your team has to feel good. Your team has to want to be good. Your team has to know that you believe in them and you will work with them when the tractors break and the horses get sick. You have to be there and you have set the example of leadership every day no matter the circumstances.
This is a busy week for High Caliber Stables. This week, our team will be up early and go home late. This week, every team member is needed -from the stalls to the school horses. We have a lot planned and the reality is, my vision is only as good as my people. I am so excited about this week. I am so excited to share our barn, our facility and our horses with people from all over the United States. I feel my best when I am busy. I love to share my life's work and passion with my people. I want to bring joy to those around me. I want to bring good perspective and a whole lot of happy to the horse people I come in contact with.
That desire to share is only as good as the people that help me make that happen. If you are headed to High Caliber Stables this week, we can't wait to see you. They are the backbone of who we are and what we do. They work hard and believe in our vision to be the very best we can, while always giving back and sharing all the blessings that come our way.
I could go on and on, but this week I will choose to put my time into preparation for the Adult Clinic, Performance Horses, Lessons, Carolina's Futurity Auction and all things High Caliber. Words are good, but I am learning your actions make the most impact and speak the loudest.
